Comments on Eric Topol: The wireless future of medicine
The way forward is preventing illness – not by direct marketing sickness to the population – what a scary future!
By the middle of this century we will look back in horror at what we did to ourselves in the name of medicine. Heart failure will be seen as a lifestyle aberration, cancer a result of environmental and dietary pollution and autoimmune disease as an interesting interpretation of indirect biochemical tests!
This is sad! and definitely not the future as I see it! Time for a healthy and balanced future not some drug based coma produced by controlling medical-dietary-industrial complex
The solution is not medicine!!! medicine is too expensive and does nothing to prevent the problem. What a shame that such a good communicator is so hooked on being a doctor!
